MADISON #11

My name is Madison and this past season I played for the Ducks U17 Elite team.  I have played competitive volleyball for 7 years and am preparing to play at the University level.  I am going into Grade 12 and will graduate CO2025.  

This past year I made the decision to move schools to Riverside Secondary. Although this choice meant I had to sit out the school season I was able to train with the team as Outside and Opposite and round out my overall volleyball skills.

This year in Club, I have transitioned from Middle Blocker to Opposite. In the upcoming fall school season I'll be playing Outside and consider myself a versatile, competitive, multi positional player. I work hard on my defense in the off season as well as maintaining my fitness & conditioning.  I also play Ducks Beach and my partner and I recently placed 1st at the High School Beach Open and 3rd at the Lower Mainland Sand Series.

When I'm not training or playing volleyball I enjoy travelling and have backpacked 20 countries on 5 continents with my family. I'm an academic student with plans to study Psychology with a strong interest in Sports Psychology.  I also really love my Boston Terrier, Kip.
